Hello and welcome to the Learning Nook! I’m Sandy Fleming, your hostess. The Learning Nook is the place to come for educational information, discussion, and ideas. Feel free to leave comments or jump on over to the Learning Nook Forum to join in the discussions.
I wanted to introduce myself. I’m a special education teacher and am currently self-employed. I do private tutoring, both on-line and off, freelance writing, grant writing, and offer workshops and training events. I’ve been educating for over thirty years now, specializing in literacy development and working with special needs clients.
In my spare time, I do lots of volunteer work for Girl Scouts and my church. I’m starting a literacy group in my county, and I like to read and play my guitar.
